How do I sign up? (back to top)
To sign up click the "Get an Account" link found right here and numerous other places on this web site. There will be a few simple instructions to follow.
You will automatically be signed up as a beta user without charge. We will give 30 to 60 days notice when the beta program comes to an end. The cost of my showing log will be about $10 per agent per month billed quarterly. We will accept major credit cards and Pay Pal. The target ending for the beta program is June 1st, 2008.
If you are not a member of North Star MLS My Showing Log will still work for you. The major difference is that you will need to suppy the agent name and email for feedback requests. The system remembers previous agent entries so each agent need only be entered once.
Can an individual agent sign up for My Showing Log if the office is not a member? back to top
Individual agent accounts are independent. If your office or a group of agents wants to use My Showing Log together, just use the sharing feature. Agents have loved having the sharing feature since it was added.
Can an office sign up for my showing log if no agents are members? back to top
Anyone can sign up for a My Showing Log account. Offices no longer have to "sign up". Agents can form groups like an office or team. Each agent has control over which groups to which they belong & who can enter a feedback request. An example would be allowing the floor person to log a showing when it is set up.
What is the cost of My Showing Log? back to top
Currently there is no charge for My Showing Log. Starting in June 2008, the cost will be $10 per month.
What are the payment options for My Showing Log? back to top
You will be able to pay quarterly, semi-annually or annually. Annual can be paid by check or credit card or Pay Pal. Payments for periods shorter than a year must be done by credit card or Pay Pal.
What are the hardware requirements for My Showing Log? back to top
Any PC computer running windows 2000 or newer should work. The computer needs to have access to the internet and have an updated browser(i.e. explorer, FireFox). Java needs to be installed. Some configuration of firewalls or popup blockers may be required. We would like to know if you have problems with any browser. If you require a certain browser please verify that it works with My Showing Log during the trial period. MAC computers should work with myshowing log, but compatibility has not been tested.
Do I need to install special software on my computer? back to top
Standard software for browsing the internet should do the job. Java is typically included with most browsers. Sometimes Java is disabled in security settings.
Do I need to have a high speed connection(broad band) for My Showing Log ? back to top
My showing log should work with a dial up connection. To fully appreciate and take advantage of My Showing Log you should have a high speed connection.
